I love to inspire others and to pass on my passion for photography by doing photography presentations at various societies and groups, and through guiding photographers of all abilities via photography walks around Liverpool, or one to one tuition.

 I currently offer two different talks, each lasting just over an hour and a quarter followed by any questions. Alternatively I can combine the two if you require a longer presentation.

'Photographing Liverpool Part One' starts with me explaining how my journey into photography began. I tell some of the interesting stories behind my Liverpool photographs, from capturing the Liver Birds rising above the fog to ’The Batman’. I also discuss how light and conditions are so influential in my work, and how much I appreciate being able to capture one of the most photogenic cities in the world.

 

A brand new talk, 'Photographing Liverpool Part Two' covers the photographs I have taken of Liverpool over the last two years. I talk about photographing the city's varied architecture and also discuss some of the images I have taken with my drone. I also go into more detail with regards to my new book 'Explore & Discover Liverpool'.

I really enjoy meeting fellow photographers at the talks and hope my images, techniques, as well as my passion for photography, can be inspirational to others.

My photography walks can be tailored around you and the amount of time you have in Liverpool. All walks and tuition sessions also include a personal follow up zoom/facetime session where I go through how to get the most out of editing your photographs.
