Across The Sands...

I'd visited New Brighton during severe gales the previous year and loved the way the sand made shapes as it blew across the beach at low tide. This Sunday morning in January the forecasted strong winds coincided with a low tide near to the Egremont Ferry at Seacombe. The sky was a lovely dark grey/ blue but with little rays of sunlight occasionally getting through and lighting the scene. Perfect. The hard part was holding the camera still whilst getting blasted by sand and 70mph winds.
