Sakrisøy, Lofoten

Sometimes a photograph can be so rewarding. In order to capture this scene, I had to climb up a fairly steep hill where the recent snowfall and consequent drifts were up to my waist in places. The temperature was well below freezing. Thankfully I made it for twilight, just as the lights in the village huts of Sakrisøy were coming on.
