I use professional Sony photographic equipment. The cameras I took this range with print at 24 and 42 megapixels. This, in addition to my selection of Zeiss lenses and subtle post processing techniques produce fantastically detailed images. Please remember the Twitter and Instagram versions are of much lower resolution. Different photographs suit different photographic papers so I use two of the latest printing methods to ensure quality.
Fuji Gloss is a very high quality photographic paper and is more suited to night photography. Fine Art Matt is slightly heavier and adds a professional texture to the photograph.
Fujifilm's 271gsm professional gloss photo base paper is from the Fuji Crystal archive range. The modern technology printers used produce incredibly detailed prints on this type of paper. Digital C-types are real photographic prints which create an analogue style print from a digital file with unparalleled depth, subtlety of tonal variation and shadow detail. The gloss finish accentuates the colour to give a punchy, rich feel.
Fine Art Photo Rag 300gsm paper is one of the most popular papers amongst artists, illustrators and photographers alike. Giclee printing using the latest professional art inkjet machines is used for this paper, producing a style and finesse loved by photographers. Often used in photographic galleries, it is a white, 100% cotton paper with a smooth surface texture and a super matt finish. The paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. It has a delicate surface so care must be taken when handling.
